HOUSTON, United States, Oct. 21, 2026 - Expedition 75 crew aboard the International Space Station completed spacesuit checks and final preparations Wednesday ahead of two scheduled spacewalks.[1] The spacewalks will install new solar arrays designed to raise the station’s total power generation capacity by up to 30%.[2] Space Nugget. Pre-spacewalk checkout includes testing suit life support, radio links, tool calibration and emergency abort procedures, and is always performed with one crew member remaining inside the station airlock during final checks.
