NASA astronaut Anil Menon and Canadian Space Agency astronaut Joshua Kutryk conducted U.S. Spacewalk 101 to install the eighth and final iROSA solar array on the International Space Station.[1] Installation of this final array concludes a five-year program to upgrade the station's power system. With all eight units now fitted, total power generation capacity increases from 160 kW to approximately 215 kW, a 30% overall boost. The seventh iROSA array was installed on the station on 29 October, prior to this final spacewalk.
