BALTIMORE, USA, Oct. 28, 2026 - The James Webb Space Telescope measured TOI-561 b reflects roughly 75% of incoming starlight.[1] This reflectivity is comparable to that of Venus. Space Nugget. Astronomers measure how much light a planet reflects, its albedo, by watching how a system's brightness dips as the planet passes behind its star. Strong reflection usually points to clouds or a bright surface layer.
