Building-size impact carved 141-foot crater on the Moon, NASA says

NASA reported the finding Sept 16, and researchers date the strike to spring 2024.

NASA said Sept 16 that a comet or asteroid the size of a three- to six-story building struck the Moon, carving a crater about 141 feet deep and as wide as three football fields.[4]
