Five NEONSAT microsatellites launched aboard South Korea’s Nuri rocket have transmitted their first images back to Earth.[1] The satellites launched 2026-10-07 from Naro Space Center in Goheung. This fifth Nuri flight carried 15 satellites total, a new record payload for the vehicle.[2][3] The previous record for the rocket was 13 satellites, set in November 2025. The full NEONSAT constellation will consist of 10 satellites. The remaining five are scheduled for launch on the Nuri rocket's sixth flight in 2027.[4]
