Secretary Brooke Rollins announced a pilot program to evaluate improved satellite imagery for agricultural reporting at the Farm Progress Show in Boone, Iowa.
The pilot will work with NASA and other federal agencies to enhance acreage and yield estimation, aiming to make farm reporting more accurate.
Secretary Rollins stated the plan will use this collaboration to improve data quality for the sector.
